Junior Development Program – Box League (4 vs. 4 Coed, Ages 6–11)

The Junior Development Program Box League is designed for boys and girls ages 6–11 who are looking to learn the game, develop fundamental skills, and experience the excitement of team competition in a fun and supportive environment. This 4 vs. 4 coed league format is specifically designed to maximize player involvement, giving each athlete more touches, more opportunities to make plays, and more chances to develop confidence on the court.

The smaller-sided game format encourages athletes to stay engaged, improve decision-making, and develop a stronger understanding of teamwork and game play. Players will learn through a combination of instruction, skill development, and organized league competition.

Throughout the program, athletes will focus on:

- Fundamental skill development and proper technique

- Passing, catching, movement, and ball control

- Offensive and defensive concepts

- Teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship

- Court awareness and game understanding

- Decision-making in game situations

- Confidence-building through active participation

- Developing athleticism, coordination, and movement skills

The Box League format creates a fast-paced and exciting environment where every player plays an important role. With fewer players on the court, athletes are encouraged to be involved in every aspect of the game, helping accelerate skill development while keeping the experience fun and engaging.

Each session includes:

- Skill instruction and development activities

- Age-appropriate drills and competitions

- Team-building exercises

- Organized 4 vs. 4 league games

- Positive coaching and player feedback

Whether a child is new to the sport or has previous experience, the Centercourt Junior Development Program Box League provides an excellent opportunity to learn, compete, make new friends, and build a strong foundation for future athletic success.

Fridays: 6:00 PM - 8:00pm
