Middle School All Skills Academy Volleyball Training (Ages 12–14)

Program Overview:

The Middle School All Skills Academy is a high-energy volleyball development program designed for athletes ages 12–14 who want to build strong fundamentals, improve athletic ability, and prepare for school, club, and competitive volleyball. Training focuses on developing complete players through technical skill work, game situations, teamwork, and volleyball knowledge.

Training Focus Areas:

1. Passing & Defense:

•Proper platform technique and body positioning

•Serve-receive fundamentals

•Defensive movement and reading hitters

•Reaction drills and floor defense

•Transition from defense into offense

2. Serving Development:

•Consistent serving mechanics

•Float serve technique

•Power and placement control

•Serving strategy and pressure situations

3. Setting Skills:

•Hand positioning and footwork

•Setting from different locations

•Communication with hitters

•Setter decision-making and offense building

4. Attacking & Hitting:

•Approach mechanics and timing

•Arm swing development

•Hitting angles and shot selection

•Attacking from different positions

•Introduction to higher-level offensive concepts

5. Blocking & Net Play:

•Blocking footwork

•Timing and hand positioning

•Reading the setter and hitter

•Transition from block to attack

6. Athletic Development:

•Speed and agility training

•Jump training

•Coordination and balance

•Strength and conditioning appropriate for youth athletes

7. Game IQ & Team Play:

•Rotations and court awareness

•Communication skills

•Offensive and defensive systems

•Competitive drills and game play

Player Goals:

By the end of training, players should improve:

•Confidence on the court

•Skill consistency

•Volleyball decision-making

•Team communication

•Preparation for higher-level competition

Program Schedule:

Mondays: 6:00 PM - 7:15pm

Wednesdays: 6:00 PM - 7:15pm

Dates: September 9th - October 28th

Program Details:

Ages: 12-14

Cost: $300 per day (Monday LDW prorated at $275)
